Updated Information

Unfortunately we had some confusion this week at Children's Camp about a few things. We are very sorry about that and will do our best to not have a repeat for youth week. It was announced during the camper/sponsor meeting that bracelets are to be worn at all times and required to eat meals. This will be enforced again during youth week.

Also, we welcome parents to visit their students at camp. However, if they want to do so there is still a $5 gate fee. This will not go away. This fee does NOT cover a meal. We understand it did last year, however it does not this year. Our cooks did not and will not be preparing extra food for parents. Also, parents will not be allowed to sit with their children during meal time even though they are not eating. The purpose of this is simply because the extra people take up extra room. This means fewer students will be able to eat at a time and this slows down our eating schedule which in turn throws off our worship schedule.

If parents want to come to a worship service, they will have to wait for all of the students to be seated first before they are able to be seated in the empty seats. This is to ensure the continued work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of the campers.

The best option would be to visit during our rec times, 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM, and not during worship or meal times.

Thank you for your understanding.

In Christ,
Your GLBA Team and Camp Directors
